Safety assessment of xenobiotics and biotechnological products

The University of Milan is looking for 40 students to participate in the project LaStataleCreators at Fuorisalone 2025 for the INTERNI Magazine event called “Cre-Action” that will be on display from 7 to 17 April.

Students are invited to take part in a new study conducted by the Sensory & Consumer Science LAB at the Dep. of Food, Environmental and Nutritional Sciences, approved by the Ethics Committee of the University of Milan.
This research is part of ONFOODS project and, specifically, of PROSPERA research plan (scientific coordinator prof. M. Laureati).

Hygiene kits available on campus

The University of Milan offers the entire university community hygiene and first-aid products, such as band-aids, sanitary pads, disinfectant and sterile dressings. These products are given out for free on a need basis, upon request.

UNI EN 16736 Certification

The master degree in "Safety Assessment of Xenobiotics and Biotechnological Products” (SAXBi) has been certified according to the Standard UNI EN 16736 and to the AICQ SICEV Regulation RG 06-1. It is the only master degree certified at the European level for becoming risk assessors.

Students and teachers participate in programme quality policies through regular monitoring and assessment activities based on indicators provided by the Ministry of Education (MIUR).

As Quality Assurance policies and procedures are student-centred. Inline with this the University has provided a training course divided into 4 modules for the students of the University.
